Hi, I'm Carolyn.
PhD, MSN, RN, CNE
I am an experienced Registered Nurse and currently a curriculum coordinator, faculty member, author,
presenter, and educational strategist at Connect:RN2ED.
I received my associate degree in nursing at Vincennes University, a BSN at Indiana University at Purdue University in Indianapolis, an MSN from University of Phoenix, and a PhD from Northcentral University. My PhD is in education with a focus on curriculum and teaching. In addition, I am a Certified Nursing Educator and hold a certificate for excellence in online teaching from Washington State University. I have been in higher education in various educational institutions, nursing and allied health programs, and in teaching and leadership positions for over thirty years. My clinical practice has included family health, geriatrics, orthopedics, neuro, and oncology. I have been involved with several professional nursing organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, participated in local, regional, and state nursing projects, and have won awards for teaching excellence in both Indiana and Ohio.
I reside in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio with my husband. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, gardening, reading, and traveling.
